Listen, Democrats

The mainstream commentary about Donald Trump’s victories has often leaned into moral panic or cultural alarmism rather than offering a grounded analysis. Bruce Ledewitz’s opinion piece (“Why the Democrats can’t defeat Donald Trump,” June 16) seems to resonate for me because it cuts through that noise. He provides both pragmatic advice and what we Democrats can do to alter voter outcomes. Democrats take heed: If we don’t change our ways, we cannot be an agent for our now failing democracy.
