Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

It took 33 matches, but the Riverhounds SC are over .500 for the first time this season. And they are a match away from the USL Championship playoffs.

Edward Kizza and Bertin Jacquesson both scored in the 2-0 win against Loudoun United FC on Saturday at Segra Field in Leesburg, Va.

Kizza scored in his fourth straight for Pittsburgh (11-10-12), Eric Dick posted his 13th shutout, and the Hounds blanked Loudoun (11-13-9).

The Riverhounds are seventh in the Eastern Conference and go into their final match at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 at Highmark Stadium against El Paso, needing a win to secure their seventh consecutive playoff berth.
