Peter Kalis's latest Trump fantasy
Peter Kalis, in another amusing foray into fantasy, claimed that Donald Trump wants to “stop the killing,” which runs counter to the facts — particularly Trump’s backing of Israel in its Gaza offensives which are killing children at an appalling rate (“Donald Trump wants to stop the killing,” Sept. 1).
The claim that Trump was willing to “wrestle in public with a demon named Putin” is so absurd that “derangement” might be better used. That did not resemble wrestling as much as a soft core porn romance.
I do not dismiss the successful events, but must note that he tends to take credit for things that he was marginally involved. India dismissed his claim of involvement in its dispute with Pakistan, for example.
He bombed Iran at the behest of Israel and against the opinion of his intelligence agencies. Its results do not seem to be what was claimed.
